Step #1:
Position your fingers up and the back of your hands down so you always braid your hair underhanded. Take a half-moon section from the front of the hairline and divide your hair into three equal sections.
Step #2:
Take the section on your right and go under the middle section into the middle. Repeat on the opposite side, taking your left section and going under into the middle section. This is your new middle section.
Step #3:
Start adding hair into your braid as you work from the hairline down to the nape of your neck Take a small piece of hair from the right side of your hairline back to your braid and take that whole section under into the middle of the braid. Repeat on the other side.
Step #4:
Continue to work this pattern and add hair to your Dutch braid, working the sections right to left. Continue to the nape of the neck.
Step #5:
Do a three-strand braid; secure with an elastic.
