8+ Months: Broccoli with Avocado Dip

Maximize your cooking time by steaming extra broccoli florets. Store them in the fridge for up to three days and serve later with more avocado dip, or toss in a salad

Ingredients: Makes about 1/2 cup avocado dip

  • 1/2 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 2 tablespoons plain greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons maynonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice


  1. In a medium saucepan, bring 2 inches of water to a simmer. Place a steamer basket over the water. Add the broccoli florets. Cover and steam until tender, about 5 minutes. Transfer to a plate.
  2. Add the avocado, yogurt, mayonnaise, and lime juice to a food processor or blender. Process until smooth, adding a tablespoon or more water if needed to help it blend. Serve 2 tablespoons avocado dip with the broccoli.
