5 Easy Steps: Rodarte Braid

Step #1:

Part your hair on the desired side and divide a small section of hair into three equal sections.

Step #2:

Create a simple three-strand braid. Continue until you have 3-4 in (7.5-10 cm) of hair left and secure the ends with a hair elastic. Make a similar braid on the other side.

Step #3:

Pull both braids to the crown of the head and secure them with a hair elastic.

Step #4:

Clip the braid upward and create another simple braid directly underneath the two connected braids. Secure the ends with a hair elastic.

Step #5:

Release the clip. Using the hair left out of the hair elastic, make a three-strand braid and then create a rose shape by winding it into a circle. Bobby pin the rose into place at the base of your braid. Use hairspray to finish.
