Beginners Yoga for Children: Standing Pose – Difficult

Because standing postures require no equipment and very little space, they can be practiced anytime, anywhere. They can be suggested to your child during a lengthy wait, possibly inviting other children and making it a group game.

This pose strengthens your child’s legs and stimulates their digestive organs. It improves the irrigation and oxygenation of the brain.

  • Stand up. legs apart as much as you can. Extend both arms above your head.

  • Bend forward and put your hands (or fingers. if easier for you) on the floor.
  • Touch the floor with the top of your head (opening your feet will help). Try touching your toes with your hands. Remain in position for a few moments. breathing normally.
