Beginners Yoga for Children: Standing Pose – Forward Bend

Because standing postures require no equipment and very little space, they can be practiced anytime, anywhere. They can be suggested to your child during a lengthy wait, possibly inviting other children and making it a group game.

First and foremost, this pose benefits your child’s back. It also engages the abdominal organs. and alleviates aerophagia and gastric difficulties.

  • Stand with your legs slightly apart.
  • As you inhale, bend forward and try to put your hands on your feet, keeping your legs straight. Go as far down as you can without straining your body.
  • Get back up while inhaling.
  • Repeat three times.
